The third theoretical and practical workshop on “Chromatin Immunoprecipitation (ChIP) in Epigenetic Analyses” was held at Royan Institute on January 23th- 24th, 2013 . This workshop was organized by research genetics lab of Royan Genetics Department in which 7 trainees participated.

This two-day workshop carried the theoretical subjects as: A preface to epigenetic, Molecular mechanisms of gene regulation, ChIP as a powerful tool for studying chromatin modifications and variations, Whole genome mapping using ChIP-on-Chip and ChIP-sequencing, and also the practical topics as: Nuclei isolation, Soluble chromatin preparation, Immunoprecipitation, DNA recovery, Real-time PCR and Data analysis.
