The Embryonic Lab of Royan Institute for Stem Cell Biology and Technology organized the Human Pluripotent Stem Cell Workshop (Culture and Maintenance) on February 20th and 21st, 2014 with 10 participants.

The outlines of this workshop were as follow:
  • An introduction to the principles of pluripotent stem cells and their potential applications in biological science
  • Mouse Embryonic Fibroblast (MEF) preparation, passaging, cryopreservation and inactivation
  • Human pluripotent stem cells passaging, cryopreservation and thawing (2D and 3D Culture systems)
  • Human pluripotent stem cells characterization
