The Third Royan International Summer School on Developmental Biology and Stem Cells for Regenerative Medicine was held on July 14th to 19th, 2012 at Royan Institute with the purpose of developmental biology knowledge promotion among all biology and medicine students.

This six-day training course provided the last achievements on stem cell function in regenerative medicine, in Farsi language on first two days and English on the next four days .
More than 430 students took benefit from the third Royan International Summer School in which a number of Royan researchers and three international professors proceeded the scientific debates on Developmental Biology, Tissue Engineering, Pluripotent Stem Cells, Mesenchymal Stem Cells, and Scientific Writing and Presentation. These lectures were succeeded by the following workshops every day from 14:00 to 17:00 PM; Felocytometry, Neural Stem Cell Isolation, Immunostaining, Mesenchmal Stem Cell, and Scaffold Fabrication.

This program was organized by Dr Hossein Baharvand as scientific manager, Dr Sahar kiani as scientific secretary, Faranak Tavakkolifar as the executive secretary and their colleagues in Stem Cell Biology and Technology department of Royan Institute.
